Studio Hire FAQ

What are your opening times?

Monday - Friday 09:00-10:00 (8:30am for early access)

Saturday - Sunday 09:00-18:00

Can we come in early to set up?

This might be possible with pre-arrangement. If you want to guarantee this you may pay for early access (8:30-09:00am) but please ensure that set-up and pack-up time are in your booked time slot.

Do you have on-site parking?

No we do not, but there are public car parks nearby and there is 2 hour parking available on Drummond Street and surrounding roads.

Is there a loading bay onsite?

Unfortunately due to adjacent building work we have lost our loading bay until 2020 but fear not! You may unload on Drummond Street and use our trolley to wheel your belongings in and out. If you need help we will try to lend a hand when possible.

Please note for set and furniture deliveries you will need to book an appropriate company or crew for loading and unloading.

What equipment do you have?

AV equipment: We have projectors and keyboards available to hire for full or half days at £30/15 respectively. We offer PAs free of charge subject to availability.

Wardrobe equipment: We have rails, screens and mirrors available for booking. We also have an iron and ironing board. Please note we do not provide hangers.

Do you have printing facilities

We are able to print up to 5 pages upon request. For any larger print jobs there is a 24 hour print shop Paragon Service Point a 2 minute walk away.

Do you provide catering?

We don't offer a catering service, but we have partnered up with the delicious Nuvola based around the corner from us in Regents Place. You can find their catering menu here and quote 'Old Diorama' for 20% off your order.

You may bring your own refreshments provided the spaces are left clean and excess rubbish removed.

Do you provide tea/coffee?

We have free tea and coffee for our room users in our communal kitchen. There is also a fridge and dishes/cutlery so you may bring your own lunch. If you would like refreshments in the room we provide hot water urns with mugs but you need to provide your own consumables, which you may buy from Sainsburys at the end of the street.
