With a long history of community partnerships and support, we continue to welcome and forge links with local organisations and charities.

Camden Youth Theatre

Run in a unique partnership between New Diorama Theatre and Camden People's Theatre, Camden Youth Theatre is completely free to attend and introduces local young people aged 13-19 to the skills they need to make their own inventive new theatre. CYT work with top professional theatre makers, creating new shows, taking part in a wide range of workshops, and performing at both NDT and CPT.

CYT sessions are Mondays 6:30pm – 9pm

Clothing the Homeless

Clothing the Homeless is a volunteer led charity initiative that collects unwanted warm clothing and aims to distribute it directly to people who sleep rough on the streets of the capital at the coldest time of year.

Diorama Zen

Diorama Zen hosts Zazen (sitting meditation) to encourage, nourish, release from unnecessary suffering, and promote happiness for all via opening of hearts (compassion), minds (wisdom), liberation from conditioned existence and awakening to who we are beyond the limitations of me-centred selves. It has it's roots in Just Listening and the London Zen society (founded in the 1970's). Although Zen is taught and practiced in a Buddhist context, the group is non- sectarian and open to all.

Diorama Zen sessions are Mondays 6-10pm at Old Diorama Arts. They also host a monthly weekend session and occasional retreats. For more information please contact: 14justlistening@gmail.com


Fitzrovia Youth in Action

Camden youth action group which empower's Camden's young people to create positive change in their lives and communities. Supports local disadvantaged young people in developing projects which address issues they care about. Also works in partnership with a wide range of local businesses to provide young people with mentoring and work experience opportunities.

Just Listening

Meditation group, Just Listening, has an Ethical-Decontructive approach to psychotherapy, education and life. It was developed at Diorama Arts in the 1990's by Drs Steven Gans and Leon Redler. It's inspired by continental philosophy, psychoanalysis, the work of R.D. Laing as well as spiritual teaching from diverse sources. 'Just' Listening is intended to convey listening simply, without preconception, as well a quality of listening that does justice to the Other.

Scene and Heard

Scene & Heard is a unique mentoring project that partners the inner-city children of Somers Town, London with volunteer theatre professionals. We give the children intensive, one-to-one adult attention, enabling them to write plays which are then performed by professional actors. West Euston Partnership

West Euston Partnership is a community charity that strives to improve local people's opportunities in health, employment and community life. Some of their free regular activities include: yoga classes, community choir, Silver Cycling for over 50's, adaptable ability bikes for individuals (of all ages) with disabilities, monthly health walks, computer use and free or low-cost printing, computer and internet use courses, student study support and adult careers assistance.
